Purpose

The purpose of this web site is to inform visitors about the Ethiopian wedding ceremony in America. This site will cover my younger brother's wedding, some of the Ethiopian traditions involved in this wedding, and how the ceremony could have been different if it was back home.

Accomplish

I also want to inform visitors how weddings in my country are done here and explain the traditional church ceremony, the traditional food and the traditional dances.

Audience  

My audiences are all those who are interested in other countries cultural wedding ceremonies.

Opportunity/Problems

The opportunity of having traditional weddings in America I think would be that it allows the couple, to keep it short and simple. Invitation can be given for limited number of people. But on the other hand there are some disadvantages to not to have the wedding back home. Over there parents of both the sides throw the wedding party and meet most of the wedding expenses. Catering would be cheaper or in some cases family members would be the ones who do the cooking. In general it is a lot cheaper to have the wedding back in my country.
